GRA's INFORMANT REWARD SCHEME
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to bring to the notice of the general public, that its Informant Reward Scheme has been reviewed as follows:
Informants whose information lead to the recovery of an amount below Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵2,500,000) will be paid 25% of interests/penalties capped at GH₵25,000.
Where the amount exceeds Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵2,500,000), the informant will be paid one percent (1%) of the total amount capped at up to GH₵250,000.
Where the amount recovered exceeds Twenty-five Million Ghana Cedis (GH₵25,000,000), GRA’s Top Management in consultation with the Board, will determine the amount to be paid.
If the amount does not include penalties and interest and the amount recovered is less than Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵2,500,000), a flat payment of between Five Thousand (GH₵5,000) to Twenty-five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵25,000) will be paid.
